About this site
VOID/BREAKER Guide is an unofficial fan resource. It is not affiliated with Stubby Games or Playstack, and it does not speak for either of them.
What this site is for
The game left Early Access on 4 November 2026 after fourteen months of public updates, and by the end of that period a lot of the advice online described systems that no longer existed. Melee worked differently. Fire mode mods were generic. Boss arenas had pillars in them. This site exists to describe the 1.0 build accurately, and to say which update changed each system so a reader can tell whether a guide they found elsewhere is current.
Who writes it
A small team of players who have been following the game since the Early Access launch. Nobody here has early access to builds, review code, or developer commentary beyond what is published on Steam.
That is a limitation worth stating plainly: everything on this site comes from public material, and where the public material stops, the site stops rather than filling the gap.
Where the facts come from
Four sources, in order of authority:
- Steam store data for price, platform, languages, system requirements and the Deck compatibility report.
- The official announcement archive for every patch note, roadmap revision and price change. Playstack and Stubby Games publish changelogs for each update, and those are quoted rather than paraphrased where the wording matters.
- The Steam global achievement list for achievement names, conditions and unlock rates.
- Official screenshots and trailers for anything describing what the game looks like.
Numbers that move, such as review counts and achievement percentages, carry the date they were read. Numbers that do not move, such as release dates and update contents, are tied to the announcement that published them.
Images and trademarks
Game imagery on this site is official Steam store and trailer material, used for reference and credited as such in image alt text. VOID/BREAKER, Stubby Games, Playstack and any associated marks belong to their respective owners.
The site icon is an original mark, not a crop of official artwork.
Corrections
If a page is wrong for the current build, the contact page has the address. Corrections that are verifiable against an official source get applied; corrections that amount to "I played it and it felt different" get read but not published as fact.
What this site does not do
It does not publish a tier list with invented damage numbers, does not claim hands-on testing it has not done, and does not write about content that has not been announced. If a boss name or a zone name has not been published, it does not appear here.
