Achievements

Quick answer

Thirteen achievements before 1.0, five of them boss kills. The rarest are Gold Iteration at 2.3% and Data Miner at 3.8%; the 1.0 roadmap adds 5+ more.

Thirteen achievements, and five of them are boss kills. That is an unusually readable list for a roguelite: there is no "kill 10,000 enemies" grind, no hidden collectible sweep, and no achievement that requires a second playthrough on a difficulty you would not otherwise touch.

Percentages are Steam's global unlock rates, read on 4 November 2026. They move; the ordering is the useful part.

What the percentages tell you

The drop from GRAVAXIS at 49.8% to VOIDBUG at 34.5% is the first real filter: roughly one in three players who beat the first boss did not beat the second. BLOCKMAW at 28.7% and TRIDENT at 10.6% continue the slide, and TRIDENT is where the curve breaks — it is the boss at the end of Zone 04, which only exists for players who came back after the HARD RESET update.

VOIDWEAVER at 4.2% is the rarest boss kill, and that is consistent with it being the Zone 05 boss added in June 2026. Most of the player base has not reached it yet.

Five Second Rule at 67.6% is the most common achievement, which makes sense: staggering five enemies inside five seconds happens naturally once you start using the tether and the grenade.

The three you have to plan for

Root Access requires fully upgrading every hack. That is a long-term goal measured in Voidium and decryptors, not skill, and it is the achievement most likely to be your last one that is not a difficulty clear.

Data Miner requires researching 10 schematics. Schematics are found in fragmented zones and points of interest, so this one rewards exploration rather than combat. If you are hunting it, take every optional route and check the arena reward preview before committing.

Iron Iteration and Gold Iteration require completing at least one iteration on hard and on insanity. Note the wording: one iteration, not the whole game. That is a much smaller ask than it sounds, and it is the reason these two sit above Looper in rarity despite sounding harder.

What 1.0 adds

The Living Roadmap's 1.0 column lists "5+ new achievements" as a launch item. That means the list above is a pre-1.0 snapshot: it is what the store showed on 4 November 2026 before the update fully applied, and the total will rise.

Two of the existing achievements are named after bosses that only exist in zones added after launch — TRIDENT for Zone 04 and VOIDWEAVER for Zone 05 — which is a reminder that this list grew during Early Access and will grow again.

Achievement hunting order

If you want the list finished efficiently:

  1. Play normally through Zone 03. Five Second Rule, GRAVAXIS, VOIDBUG and BLOCKMAW come along the way.
  2. Take every fragmented zone you can afford, and research every schematic immediately. Data Miner is passive progress if you do this.
  3. Equip three corrupted modules for one run, deliberately. The achievement does not require them to be good.
  4. Push hacks to full on the runs where you are farming rather than progressing. Root Access is a budget, not a fight.
  5. Finish with the difficulty clears. Hard first, then insanity, using whatever build you have already proven.

The bosses page has the fight-by-fight detail, and the builds page covers the module combinations that make the later difficulties survivable.

Two achievements that were broken

Achievement bugs are common enough in Early Access that two of them are worth documenting, because they explain why some percentages look low.

Steam achievements were failing to fire entirely at points in 2026 — fixed in 0.12.6 and again in 0.13.4, with a note in the June patch that the fix also covered the "Root Access" achievement specifically. Daniel's wording: "if you were hit by this one, opening the hacks menu should pop it for you."

The practical takeaway: if you did the work and the achievement did not appear, open the relevant menu once before assuming you have to do it again. Several of these are trigger-based rather than state-based, and the trigger now fires on menu open.

If you only have a weekend

Three of the thirteen are achievable in a single long session: Five Second Rule, GLASS/BREAKER and [ACHIEVMENT[]CORRUPT]. All three are situational rather than progressive.

  • Five Second Rule wants a dense arena and a tether throw into a crowd. Zone 02 and Zone 03 both provide the density.
  • GLASS/BREAKER wants a glass-heavy room. Ten panes in ten seconds means running a line through a corridor rather than shooting each pane.
  • [ACHIEVMENT[]CORRUPT] just needs three corrupted modules equipped at once. Corrupted drops are rare but not gated, and you can hold them without using them effectively.

The boss achievements and the three iteration achievements are the long tail. Root Access is longer still, because it is gated by currency rather than by skill.
