VOID/BREAKER 1.0
1.0 lands on 4 November 2026 at $29.99 with no launch discount. Zone 06, the story conclusion, a new boss, an endgame hub and 5+ achievements are in; the Supporter's Pack is free if you bought during Early Access.

VOID/BREAKER leaves Early Access on 4 November 2026. The store page has carried a "Leaving Early Access: Nov 4, 2026" banner since the announcement, and the 1.0 trailer ends on the same date. There is no second delay, no soft launch, no console version riding along.
The launch facts
| Item | Detail | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | 4 November 2026 | Steam store page, 1.0 announcement |
| Price at 1.0 | $29.99 / €26.99 / £23.99 | Steam store, 22 Aug 2026 price change |
| Early Access start | 19 August 2025 | Steam release date field |
| Platform | Windows 10 / 11 | Store system requirements |
| Languages | English (full audio), Simplified Chinese | Store language table |
| Achievements at launch | 13 live, 5+ more on the 1.0 roadmap | Steam global achievement list, Living Roadmap |
| Supporter's Pack | Free for anyone who owned the game in Early Access | 1.0 announcement, 1 Oct 2026 |
| Demo | Free, progress transfers to the full game | 1.0 announcement |
| Soundtrack | By Joe Ford, sold with the Supporter's Pack or separately | 1.0 announcement |
Two of those rows matter more than the rest. The Supporter's Pack is not a pre-order bonus you had to catch in a window — it is retroactive. If you bought VOID/BREAKER at any point during Early Access, including at the old $19.99 price, the pack lands in your library at 1.0 for nothing.
What 1.0 adds
The Living Roadmap published with the 1.0 date lists the launch column explicitly. Read it as the developer's own checklist, not a marketing summary:
- Zone 06 and the story conclusion. The fifth zone arrived in June 2026 with the ASCENSION update; the sixth closes the loop.
- A new boss and new enemies. The five bosses already in the game are tied to the five existing zones, so the 1.0 boss is a sixth.
- An endgame hub and unlocks. The Chaos Terminal already exists as the post-Zone-3 challenge loop; 1.0 extends that structure.
- 5+ new achievements, which is why the current count of 13 is a snapshot rather than the final number.
- A Community Voice update, balance tweaks, and QoL improvements — the same category of update the game has shipped four times already.
Nothing on that list is a mystery box. The roadmap's earlier columns (CHAOS TERMINAL, HARD RESET, RECALIBRATION, ASCENSION) all shipped with their items delivered, which is the strongest argument that the 1.0 column will land as written.
What it does not change
Your save. Daniel has been explicit about this twice, once when HARD RESET launched and once in the dev diary before it: "This update does NOT wipe your progress." 1.0 is a release, not a reset, and the studio has no history of wiping saves between major versions.
Your price. The August increase was announced as final and was framed as carrying "through to our 1.0 launch and beyond". Anyone who bought at $19.99 keeps everything.
Your platform. Windows only, as it has been since August 2025. No Mac or Linux build has been announced at any point.
If you are buying on launch day
The order that makes sense: play the demo first, because progress transfers and it costs nothing. If the shooting clicks, buy before you decide you have time for it — the price is already at its final level, so waiting for a discount means waiting for a sale, not for a lower base price.
Then read the beginner guide before your first real run. The game's opening hour is the least forgiving part of it: the tutorial teaches stagger and destruction, but it does not teach you which modules are worth taking, and that is where most first runs die.
If you already own the game from Early Access, the only thing to do on 4 November is launch it and check that the Supporter's Pack has been granted — the soundtrack and art book appear as separate entries in your library, not inside the game folder. If you are still deciding, the price history page has the $19.99 to $29.99 timeline and the worth-it page weighs the $29.99 against the alternatives.
Day one checklist
Three things are worth doing in the first hour after the update lands, in this order.
- Launch the game once and check your library. The Supporter's Pack items are granted as separate Steam entries. If you owned the game before 4 November and they are not there, restarting Steam is the usual fix; the grant is tied to ownership, not to a code.
- Open the hacks screen before your first run. 1.0 changes the endgame hub and unlocks, and the game does not always surface new tiers in the same place they used to live.
- Check the achievement list. The roadmap promises 5+ new achievements. If your count still reads 13, the update has not fully applied.
The Supporter's Pack, precisely
| Component | What it is | Sold separately |
|---|---|---|
| Official soundtrack | Music by Joe Ford | Yes |
| Official art book | Concept and production art | No |
| 7 weapon chassis | Unique chassis to unlock | No |
The chassis are the part people underrate. A chassis is not a skin: it changes the weapon's handling and stats, and chassis mods can be repeated, which is how some of the more broken builds in the game exist. Seven of them at once is a meaningful pile of new combinations, and it is free if you were already in.
