VOID/BREAKER

Price and Supporter's Pack

Quick answer

The price rose from $19.99 to $29.99 on 22 August 2026 and was described as final. Early Access buyers get the Supporter's Pack free at 1.0: seven chassis, Joe Ford's soundtrack and an art book.

VOID/BREAKER cost $19.99 for its first year. On 22 August 2026 it became $29.99, and the developer described that as the last increase the game will get. If you are buying now, that is the number: thirty dollars, no launch discount, no pre-order window.

The price timeline

DatePrice (USD)What happened
19 Aug 2025$19.99Early Access launch price, chosen from survey feedback
22 Aug 2026$29.99Final increase, announced 7 August, applied with a -20% sale running alongside
4 Nov 2026$29.991.0 launch, price unchanged

The euro and pound prices moved with it: €17.99 to €26.99 and £17.99 to £23.99. Playstack said regional pricing would be updated across all currencies at the same time, and the store page has shown $29.99 since.

Why it went up

The August announcement gives the reasoning without much spin: the original $19.99 "was a way of saying thank you to everyone who took a chance on VOID/BREAKER and supported the project from day one", and it also "reflected a smaller game in scope than the one that's available today".

Between those two statements is a factual list. Since launch, the game added Zone 04 and Zone 05, two weapons (SMG and Sniper Rifle), at least five new enemy types, two enemy variants, wallrunning, a melee rework, a Recycler, the Chaos Terminal, and roughly thirty modules between the RECALIBRATION and ASCENSION updates.

Ten dollars for two zones, two weapons and a rebuilt melee system is not an outrageous trade. It is also not a decision you get to make any more: the increase already happened.

What Early Access buyers get free

The Supporter's Pack is the apology for anyone who paid the old price, except it is not framed as an apology. It is framed as a thank you, and it is automatic.

The rule is simple: if you owned VOID/BREAKER at any point during Early Access — including the free playtest period, if you then bought the game — the pack is granted at 1.0. You do not need a code, a form, or a receipt. It is tied to ownership on the account.

What the pack is actually worth

The soundtrack is the only component with a separate price. Joe Ford's score is the part of the game people bring up without being asked; Daniel singled out the VOIDWEAVER theme when ASCENSION shipped, and the soundtrack release at 1.0 covers the full game rather than the Early Access track list.

The seven chassis are the component with gameplay value. A chassis is a weapon variant with its own visuals and handling, and chassis mods can be repeated — which means a new chassis is not a skin, it is a new set of stat trade-offs to build around. Seven at once is a significant expansion of what the modification screen can produce.

The art book has no gameplay value at all, which is fine. It is the kind of extra that either matters to you or does not.

Buying now: the only discounts that exist

The base price is fixed. What remains is bundles. VOID/BREAKER is bundled with Trepang2, Deadlink, METAL EDEN, Rogue Point, VOIN, Luna Abyss, and with The Entropy Centre in the Stubbyverse bundle. Bundle discounts stack on top of the individual prices, so if you want two of those games anyway, the bundle is cheaper than buying VOID/BREAKER alone plus the other title at full price.

One caution on bundles: they do not include the Supporter's Pack. That is a 1.0 purchase bonus for existing owners and a paid extra afterwards, not a bundle item.

The short version

If you paid $19.99 during Early Access, you already won this exchange: a year of updates, the 1.0 build, and a pack that includes the soundtrack. If you are buying today at $29.99, you are paying the final price for the finished game, and the demo exists so you can test the shooting before you commit.

The 1.0 launch page has the release-day table. The Supporter's Pack page goes through the three components in more detail.

If you are deciding between the pack and the soundtrack

The soundtrack is sold separately, which makes one comparison possible that the other two components do not allow. If you want the music and nothing else, you can buy it alone at 1.0 and skip the pack entirely. If you want the chassis, there is no separate route — the pack is the only way in, and after launch it costs money rather than being granted.

That asymmetry is worth knowing before you assume the pack is one undifferentiated bundle. It is three things with three different values: one you can buy, one you cannot, and one that only matters if you like art books.

How the grant actually arrives

Ownership is checked at 1.0, not at purchase. That means the pack appears in your Steam library as separate entries once the update goes live, and it does not matter whether you bought the game in August 2025 or on 3 November 2026 — the cut-off is the launch itself, not a promotional window.

If the entries do not appear on day one, the fix is usually a Steam restart rather than a support ticket. Entitlements tied to ownership grants are pushed to the client rather than to the account page, and the client caches its library.
