Privacy policy
This site is a static collection of pages. It does not have accounts, comments, or a login, and it does not ask you for any personal information.
What is stored
Nothing you type. There are no forms on this site apart from the email address on the contact page, which opens your own mail client rather than submitting anything to a server.
Aggregate analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages are read. That records a page URL, a rough location derived from your IP, a device type and a referrer. It does not identify you, and it is not linked to any account.
Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard request logs for security and abuse purposes.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish sessions. If you block cookies or use a tracker blocker, the analytics simply does not record your visit, and the site works exactly the same.
Third-party advertising
This site carries advertising served by Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Its code may set its own cookies or device identifiers, and it may use them to select and measure ads.
Three specifics worth knowing:
- Desktop and mobile differ. The desktop unit is a native banner placed inside the page. The mobile unit is a 320×50 banner loaded inside a sandboxed frame, separate from the page content.
- The ad code is only present on the production domain. It is not served on preview or staging addresses.
- Ad blockers stop it. If you run an ad blocker, the ad slot stays empty and nothing from the advertising network loads.
The site does not control what the advertising network collects. If you want to know its practices, Adsterra publishes its own privacy policy.
Links out
Pages link to Steam, to the official announcement archive, and occasionally to other games' store pages. Once you follow a link, the destination site's privacy policy applies, not this one.
Your choices
- Block analytics: any content blocker or the browser's own tracking protection will stop the GA script.
- Block ads: an ad blocker stops the advertising network from loading at all.
- Ask a question: the contact page has the address, and questions about this policy are answered.
Changes
If the site adds a feature that collects something — a newsletter, a comment form — this page will say so before it ships. The current version collects nothing beyond aggregate analytics and whatever the advertising network does on its own.
